We often overlook the fact that much of Jesus’ ministry was spent with the people that he loved. He ate meals with them, prayed with them, discussed the truth with them, and cared for their physical and spiritual needs—and he calls his followers to do the same.
What is a Community Group? Whether you’re a long-time follower of Jesus or you’ve barely heard of him before, Community Groups are the place where we help one another grow in our understanding of who Jesus is and how he brings fulfillment and hope in life.
What do Community Groups look like? Every week a small group of people meet together to eat, pray, and discuss how the gospel applies to our lives. As you grow closer to the people in your group, you’ll find a place where you’re welcomed and wanted as well as cared for and challenged.
Are Community Groups a good fit for me? If you’ve never needed help with anything and never wanted to be part of something bigger than yourself, then Community Groups aren’t the place for you. (And you might not be human either.) But if you want to explore what it means to follow Jesus in a humble and relaxed environment, then consider joining a Community Group. (You won’t regret it.)
