Remnant Church desires children to grow in grace as they follow their parents’ leadership in trusting Christ in every area of life. During the Gathering (our Sunday morning service), Remnant Kids provides a safe and loving place for children to learn about Jesus and engage with their friends all under the care of godly men and women.
Our Commitment to You
We see childcare as one of our highest priorities and responsibilities from Jesus. As such, your children will be cared for by trained men and women who pass a background check and who are committed to seeing your child enjoy their experience and grow in their love for Christ.
When can I check-in/out my children?
Check-In: Opens 30 minutes prior to the start of either service (9 & 11AM).
Check-Out: Immediately following the end of service (or anytime during the service, if needed).
How does the check-in/out process work?
Remnant Kids uses a touch-screen computer for all check-in and check-out procedures. At the point of check-in each child will be given a digital name tag that includes a serial number and any important information about your child that you have specified. (This process enables workers to keep track of food allergies, etc.) To pick up your children, simply present your matching copy of their name tag and serial number.
Note: For the safety of all children, classroom workers are instructed not to release any child unless the parent or gaurdian has the appropriate matching serial number.
What will my child experience?
Children are placed into developmentally appropriate classrooms generally sorted by age. In each case, the classrooms have been specially designed to ensure that children of receive the kind of environment most suited for their age-specific needs.
Nursery (5-12months) – To make sure that infants are lovingly cared for, cribs and changing tables are provided. Any other needs your infant may have will be met per your instructions (bottles, naps, etc.).
One Year Olds – The one year olds class provides a safe and nuturing environment with age-appropriate toys for fast crawlers and walkers.
Two & Three Year Olds – Two and three year olds will enjoy free time in the discovery room, snack time, and weekly-reinforced "Big Ideas" from our children's curriculum.
Four, Five & Six Year Olds – Four, five, and six year olds will enjoy free time in the discovery room, snack time, and "Question and Answer" lessons that reinforce that month's "Big Idea" from our children's curriculum.
Discovery Room – Learning to play with other children is an important part of every child's development. That's why we have a room specially designed to encourage creativity and sharing so that your children can grow in their love for Christ while they enjoy being kids.
